This game is horribly underrated and that puts me a bad mood for very long time, since in 2004 and now. This game have full of life and personality that MANY games lack of. Story is beautiful written and the soundtrack has great atmosphere. Great characters to know and love and pretty awesome humor to boot. I played this game since it came out on the PS2 in 2004 and it was and still is the best game out there. There is mystery that need to be solve in this game, like what is Jade origins ?, who are Jade parents ?, what is Pey'j secret ?, who and what is Yoa ? what is Shauni ?, what is the DomZ leader true body ? where do the DomZ came from ? and more question to come. I truly wish the make a squeal very soon. I hope they give more info about the history of the first game and more background story for the NPC of Beyond Good & Evil, plus more. I hope more people would buy the HD version soon, it is on both Xbox live and the Playstation Network both cost $10.00. Please I beg on my knees for ALL who are reading this please buy the game and boost hope for Ubisoft to make a squeal earlier for our gaming system and not for the future gaming system. I love this game and I hope all of you will love this game too. And if you can buy the Disk version too. The disk version was on the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and PC. It's truly a gem to have. Pun intended.

Here is the setting for those who never hear of this game, here is a quote from wikipedia: "The game is set in the fictional world of Hillys, a remote mining planet in Sector 4, in the year 2435. The planet comes under siege by an alien species called the DomZ, causing the Alpha Sections, a group of mysterious soldiers headed by General Kehck, to step up with promises of protecting the populace. However, they don't seem to be particularly effective, as many residents of Hillys still disappear with each attack, leaving some to suspect that the Alpha Sections are in league with the DomZ."
